Add On - Istanbul city day tour - 19th or 20th of Aug 2005 (instead of going to practice/qualifying on the 20th)

We will take you for an escorted tour of the former city of Constantinople visiting the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace and Hipodrome. We take an afternoon cruise on the Bosphorous passing by ancient forts and palaces. Today we also visit a carpet factory and learn how Turkish carpets are made by hand, what determines their value and the historical and cultural context in which this folk art has blossomed. Then leather goods display - Turkey produces some of the finest leather goods in the world and many are made here before branding in Italy.
