Experience some of Turkey's finest ruins, most impressive monuments, the turquoise coast and one of nature's most fascinating phenomenons at Cappadocia.
DAY 1 - IstanbulWelcome to Istanbul where you will be transferred to your hotel located in the heart of the old city, Sultanahmet. The remainder of the day is yours free to explore. Overnight Istanbul 4*.
DAY 2 - Istanbul to PamukkaleTour the city that spans both Europe and Asia, visiting the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace, the Underground Cistern and the Hippodrome. Afterwards we board an overnight sleeper train to the calcium terraces of Pamukkale.
DAY 3 - Kusadasi to KoycegizTour the magnificent white calcium formations of Pamukkale, followed by the ancient city of Hierapolis. Take a dip in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapuetic powers. Overnight Koycegiz 3*. Dinner.
DAY 4 - Koycegiz - Optional Gulet CruiseBoard a boat and cruise around lake Koycegiz along the Dalyan river. Pass the Kings Tombs, swim at Turtle Beach and cover yourself in mud. Overnight Koycegiz 3*. Lunch.
DAY 5 - Koycegiz to FethiyeLeaving Koycegiz, we visit the ghost town of Kayakoyu, a former Greek village that was deserted after the Turkish War of Independence. Overnight Fethiye 3* .
DAY 6 - Fethiye - Gulet Cruise disembarksToday you have a free day to do whatever you choose. Paraglide, swim, recover, relax or take a boat out to Butterfly Valley. Overnight Fethiye 3*.
DAY 7 - - Fethiye to Antalya via Saklikent GorgeToday we visit a carpet village and learn how Turkish carpets are made by hand, what determines their value and the historical and cultural context in which this folk art has blossomed. Afterwards we visit Saklikent Gorge, the longest and deepest canyon in Turkey. Walk through icy water and battle numerous small waterfalls set in sculpted limestone canyon walls. Take a tube ride down the rapids or relax on the platforms. Overnight Antalya 3*.
DAY 8 - Antalya to Konya via Perge and AspendosA tour of the ancient ruins of Perge will impress you with the Seleucid walls which has survived remarkably well over time. Close by, we also tour Aspendos, which is known for its theatre. One of the best preserved theatres of Asia Minor, this impressive theatre is still used today. Its galleries, stage decorations and acoustics all testify to the architect's success. Overnight Konya 4*. Dinner.
DAY 9 - Konya to CappadociaToday we visit the Mevlana Museum. The Mevlevi order of whirling dervishes is a mystic group whose members are followers of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi - a great Turkish poet and mystic, the brotherhood is based in Konya where its founder is buried. Enroute, we stop at the ancient Silk Road Caravanseray, before we trek through the widly beautiful Ihlara Valley and explore Derinkuyu Underground City. Tonight, don't miss the optional traditional Turkish folklore evening! Overnight Cappadocia 4*.
DAY 10 - CappadociaMarvel at the lunar landscape of Cappadocia with a fully guided tour of Goreme Valley, the Fairy Chimneys and more. Overnight Cappadocia 4*. Dinner.
DAY 11 - Cappadocia to Istanbul via AnkaraToday we visit the nation's capital, Ankara, with a tour of the Ancient Civilisation Museum. Overnight Istanbul 4*.
DAY 12 - IstanbulAfter breakfast our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends. There are two airport transfers from your hotel 06:30 hours and 14:30 hours.
