Formula One Grand Prix - Istanbul
8 Day itinerary
Fez Travel want to welcome you to the 2006 Grand Prix in the most fabulous settings of Istanbul. The new 5.3 Km curcuit which has been designed by Herman Tilke is reckoned to be one of the most challenging tracks of the 2005 season with some 6 right hand turns and 8 left hand turns and a mixture of gradients, the main grandstand has a capacity of 30,000 people.
No other city in the world covers two continents and can offer you such a race.
Friday 25 August 2006Welcome to Istanbul. You will be met at the Atatόrk Airport and transferred to your 4 star hotel which is located in the heart of Sultanahmet, the old city.
Saturday 26 August 2006Today we have an early start in order to get to the track for practice at 09:00. You will have the chance to see the racetrack with the cars getting ready for the big day and watch practice and later the preliminary qualifying laps. Dinner will be at an exclusive traditional Turkish restaurant where you will sample some of Turkey's delicious cuisine.
Sunday 27 August 2006An early breakfast today and then transport to the circuit to take your place at the track to watch the final qualifying and then the first ever Formula 1 Grand Prix to run in Istanbul.
Monday 28 August 2006Today there will be a full day tour of Istanbul, visiting churches, mosques, museums and palaces.
Tuesday 29 August 2006This evening dinner is included at a special "Turkish Night" so please be ready for fun and a very relaxed atmosphere.
Wednesday 30 August 2006You are free to do as you choose.
Thursday 31 August 2006On your last evening in Istanbul, you will take a Bosphorus cruise, which includes dinner.
Friday 1 September 2006Today you will be transferred to Ataturk Airport for your return flight after a memorable holiday.
Included in this tour are:
o Inbound and Outbound transfers
o 7 nights in a 4 star hotel on a B & B basis.
o Two trips to the Formula 1 circuit
o Three evening meals (one with entertainment)
o One Bosphorus cruise including your last evening meal
