Day 1 IstanbulWelcome to Istanbul! You will be transferred to your hotel located in the heart of the old city, Sultanahmet. The remainder of the day is yours free to explore. The world famous Grand Bazaar beckons. Overnight Istanbul 4*.
Day 2 IstanbulTour of Istanbul, the city that spans both Europe and Asia visiting the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Topkapi Palace , the Cistern and the Hippodrome. Welcome dinner at a special Turkish restaurant. Overnight Istanbul 4*. Breakfast and dinner.
Day 3 Istanbul to GallipoliOne of the most emotionally and touching places in Turkey, today we visit the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli including Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, the Nek, Johnston's Jolly and the Kaba Tepe Gallipoli Museum. Overnight Canakkale 5*. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 4 Gallipoli to Kusadasi via Troy and PergamumToday we step back in time as we visit Troy, famous for the legendary Trojan Horse from the times of beautiful Helen, Queen of Sparta and Paris, the Trojan Prince. Then we tour the magnificent Acropolis of Pergamum. Its impressive temples, library and medical facilities made Pergamum a renowned cultural and political centre in its time. An afternoon leather goods display follows. Overnight Kusadasi 5*. Breakfast and dinner.
Day 5 EphesusAbsorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of the impressive site of Ephesus. Walk down the Marble Road towards the Celsius Library, Domitianus Temple and the Grand Theatre. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the city halls and stadium where chariot and horse races were once held. Later we visit a carpet weaving village and learn how the carpets are made by hand and what determines their value. Overnight Kusadasi 5*. Breakfast and dinner.
Day 6 Sirince VillageTour of local village Sirince which is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Taste some of their local fruit wines then drive to Pamukkale. Free afternoon to relax and enjoy the thermal pools. Overnight Pamukkale 5*. Breakfast and dinner.
Day 7 Pamukkale to CappadociaTour the magnificent white calcium terraces of Pamukkale, followed by the ancient city of Hierapolis. Take a dip in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapeutic powers (pool entry not included). After visiting the fantastic ruins and museum of Aphrodisias we continue to Cappadocia. Overnight Cappadocia S Class. Breakfast and dinner.
Day 8 CappadociaIn the morning trek through the wildly beautiful Ihlara Valley, a region once favoured by Byzantine monks. In the afternoon we tour one of the famous underground cities and then the Uchisar Castle. Tonight, don't miss the optional traditional Turkish folklore evening. A must do! Overnight Cappadocia S Class. Breakfast.
Day 9 CappadociaMarvel at the lunar landscape of Cappadocia, with a fully guided tour of Goreme Valley, the Fairy Chimney's and one of the largest underground cities, Derinkuyu. Overnight Cappadocia S Class. Breakfast and dinner.
Day 10 Cappadocia to Istanbul via KayseriThis afternoon we fly back to Istanbul. Transfer to your hotel and you have the rest of the day free. Overnight Istanbul 4*. Breakfast.
Day 11 IstanbulAfter breakfast take a Bosphorus Cruise through the waterway separating the two continents, Asia and Europe. Visit Dolmabahce Palace, the last residence for the Ottoman Sultans and then we pass over the Bosphorus Bridge and stop at the Camlica Hill, the best panoramic view of Istanbul and the Bosphorus. Overnight Istanbul 4*. Breakfast and farewell dinner in the hotel.
Day 12 IstanbulAfter breakfast our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends. Transfer to Airport. Breakfast.
