DAY 1 - Wednesday 8th November - IstanbulWelcome to Istanbul! You will be transferred to your hotel located in the heart of the old city, Sultanahmet. The remainder of the day is yours free to explore. Overnight Istanbul 3*.
DAY 2 - Thursday 9th November - IstanbulTour the city that spans both Europe and Asia visiting the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofia, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. Welcome dinner tonight at a typical Turkish restaurant. Overnight Istanbul 3*. Dinner.
DAY 3 - Friday 10th November - Istanbul to Gallipoli via TroyToday we travel south towards the Gallipoli battlefields visiting ancient Troy, home of the famed Trojan Horse, before checking into our hotel. Overnight Gallipoli 4*. Lunch. Dinner.
DAY 4 - Saturday 11th November - Remembrance Day - GallipoliOne of the most emotional and touching places in Turkey, today we start our WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli tour with a small unofficial service at ANZAC Cove at 11 am, then we continue on to visit the Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, the Nek, Johnston's Jolly and the Kaba Tepe Gallipoli Museum. Overnight Gallipoli 4*. Lunch. Dinner.
DAY 5 - Sunday 12th November - Gallipoli to Kusadasi via PergamumWe tour the magnificient acropolis of Pergamum. It's impressive temples, library and medical facilities made Pergamum a renowned cultural and political centre in its time. This evening, relax by the beach. Overnight Kusadasi 4*. Dinner.
DAY 6 - Monday 13th November - EphesusAbsorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the city halls and stadium where chariot and horse races were once held. We also visit the Selcuk Museum before a Leather goods display. Turkey produces some of the finest leather goods in the world and many are made here before branding in Italy. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey. At the carpet village we learn how the carpets are made by hand and what determines their value. Tonight we dine in the beautiful fruit wine producing and craft town of Sirince. Overnight Kusadasi 4*. Dinner.
DAY 7 - Tuesday 14th November - Kusadasi to PamukkaleToday we head inland and visit the famous calcium terraces of Pamukkale and the Roman Hierapolis. Overnight Pamukkale 4*. Dinner.
DAY 8 - Wednesday 15th November - Pamukkale to KonyaToday we visit head for Konya and the Mevlana Museum. The Mevlevi order of whirling dervishes is a mystic group whose members are followers of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi. Overnight Konya 4*. Dinner.
DAY 9 - Thusday 16th November - Konya to CappadociaWe visit the ancient Silk Road Caravanserais. Afternoon trek through the wildly beautiful Ihlara Valley, a region once favoured by Byzantine monks. Tonight, don't miss the optional traditional Turkish folklore evening! Overnight Cappadocia 4*.
DAY 10 - Friday 17th November - CappadociaMarvel at the lunar landscape of Cappadocia, with a fully guided tour of Goreme Valley, the Fairy Chimneys and one of the largest underground cities, Derinkuyu. Overnight Cappadocia 4*. Dinner.
DAY 11 - Saturday 18th November - Cappadocia to Istanbul via AnkaraIn the Nations capital, Ankara, we visit the award winning Ancient Civilation's Museum. Overnight Istanbul 3*.
DAY 12 - Sunday 19th November - IstanbulAfter breakfast our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends.
